Description

• You will maintain the fitness/aerobics areas during class times to provide a relatively safe, effective, and motivating environment for physical activity.
• Assess continually the participants and their ability level.
• Explain and demonstrate principles, techniques, and methods of regulating movement of body, hands, or feet to achieve proficiency in activity.
• Explain and demonstrate use of apparatus and equipment.
• Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations. Set up facility for any activity that is needed for assigned fitness class.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Health and fitness
• Experience in a Gym/Health club environment
• Able to carry and lift items up to 50 pounds and frequently stand up and move about the facility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be well groomed and pleasant
• Good understanding of the Hotel Industry standards, policies and procedures
• Pre opening experience a strong plus
• Service minded and ability to involve and support operations.
